Lawrence Robbins, M.D. is considered to be one of the top 10 experts in the country on management of headache medications. His books, Headache Help and Management of Headache and Headache Medications have been very well reviewed, and both are bestsellers.
Dr. Robbins also discusses non-medication strategies, as well as alternative treatments (herbs, exercise, acupuncture, physical therapy, etc.). Dr. Robbins has his practice in Northbrook, Illinois.
He was named as the recipient of the Clinical Pain Management Award, given to the physician who “…has made a significant accomplishment in research and/or teaching in the field of interdisciplinary pain management.”
One physician in the United States recieves this award yearly, and Dr. Robbins has been awarded it for 2008, given by the primary pain management organization.
He was also named as one of Chicago’s Top Doctors by Chicago Magazine in the January 2008 issue and has been elected to America’s Top Doctors for each year spanning from 2001 to 2008.
